The Omani Society in Queensland's website (www.omanis.org/qld) won the Gold Award for non-governmental organization - awarded by OmanWebAwards at Al-Bustan Palace Hotel in a prestigious ceremony on the 30th of December 2005.

The competition was created to recognize creativity & excellence and aims at bringing together web design companies, freelancers and web owners in a competition for the ‘Best Website' in each of the designated 22 categories.

This event has already been recognized by the industry as one of the top award programs.
